If you ask any of the youth population as to which is the most favourite hangout place - the answer will be the famed
As it is, the road is swarmed with high schoolers and collegiates who use it as a meeting point. During the day,
the normally empty Phadke Rd bustling only with vehicular traffic gives way in the evening to groups of guys n girls
who make it a point to meet their loved ones or simply their friends. Such is the fame of Phadke Road, that even our
fellow student friends come from nearby suburbs like Kalyan, Ambarnath. The road is specially crowded on the first day
of Diwaliwhen there are a variety of programmes in the city. Since the Ganpati Mandir is at the other end of the
road, devotees and the general public can be seen on the road.
The service road parallel to the railway tracks and adjoining the
"Mora-chi-baag" ( Peacock's Garden ) is also popular with young couples who would rather prefer solitude ( n avoid being seen
in public ). Manpada Road grabs a third n fair share.
The city lacks enough Coffee Bars, so we have to do with the existing ones. SUGAR N SPICE on Kalyan Road opposite
Saraswat bank ( Near Aptech ) is quite popular. The management lets u sit n chat if thrz not much rush. The music is sometimes
awful, and the drinks are okay.
Modern Cafe(Phadke Road), Baskin Robbins(P. Road), Topplers (Ganpati Mandir Road ), Topplers 2 ( G.M. Road ), KDMC
Sports Complex Area, MIDC Garden Area are all favourite places for hanging out.
Incase I have missed out on any of the other places, let me know.
